Fall's Hottest Bag

Alexander Wang has done it again.  He's created a contemporary bag that all the downtown girls are going to go gaga for.  It's the 'Emile' style with crocodile embossed suede down the middle of the bag.  Create a new statement this fall and carry this gorgeous satchel on your arm.

Chateau Cherbuliez - C'est Magnifique

The Chelsea neighborhood of NYC is welcoming the new French restaurant Chateau Cherbuliez from celebrated chef Todd English.  It's located in the former parish building in the now Limelight Marketplace, which was a former Gothic Revival Church.  The wines and menu are clearly French and fabulous.  Must haves are the steak tartare, tartine d'escargot, and moules frites.  Get there while the weather is still at its best because the outdoor dining here is stunning.

King & Grove - Williamsburg Brooklyn Hotel Opens

Hip Brooklyn hotels have been opening up faster than you can grab a cab from Manhattan to this trendy borough.  With so many new hot restaurants and boutiques in hipster Williamsburg you need more than a day to see it all.  A good nights rest at King & Grove will do the trick.  This hotel has all the luxuries you could ask for in an urban setting (rooftop bar, modern amenities, full-services, saltwater pool).  Rooms start at $265.00/night.

Givenchy Fall 2012 - The It Boot

It may be in the 90's outside but I have my eyes set on Fall's boots already.  Nobody has a more stylish boot for the colder weather than Givenchy.  This sheath boot is so spectacular that nothing else could ever come close.  I have to have them.  Riccardo Tisci showed them in a variety of colors and materials during the runway show so it is to be seen which ones will end up in the stores come August.  They might be worth a month's rent for some but they are so worth it.

Givenchy - $1695.00 - available at www.bergdorfgoodman.com

Why Yes Governor

There's a new governor in Brooklyn - Dumbo to be exact!  Governor is the newest restaurant to open in Dumbo with chef Brad McDonald at its helm.  It's the same team to bring you Gran Electrica which opened earlier this year also in Dumbo.  The name is derived from Robert Gair, who was a paper bag maker (who's wallpaper is used in the restaurant), and helped develop Dumbo in the late 1800's.  They called him the Governor.
Now on to the important stuff - the food!  This isn't your conventional restaurant so you should have an open palette that's ready for new ideas.  Grilled tongue, bone marrow popovers, sweetbreads, and house-churned butter just to name a few.  The reviews so far have been fantastic.  As well as the stunning design aesthetic chosen.  It shouldn't be hard to decide where to eat tonight.

A Meal With Views You'll Never Forget

At the Nomad Hotel's new rooftop restaurant the food isn't the only thing that's memorable.  The restaurant is made up of multiple rooms surrounding an atrium with stunning views of Manhattan.  The food, created by chef Daniel Humm, is pleasingly simple and sophisticated.  The $125 tasting menu must be booked online only for same day reservations.  Good luck!
